24 Hour Emergency Plumbers in Pittsburgh and nearby cities.
Leaks are torture, especially when you don’t directly know where the problem is or why it has occurred. Throughout this article, we will go through ways that leak detection can help you, some types of leaks, and how Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Pittsburgh is here to help you avoid any more problems in the future.
Did you know that up to 50% of the water in North America’s supply system was lost to leaks? Not only does this cause high bills, but it damages the environment greatly. Surely you wouldn’t want think "When we could’ve avoided all these problems with simple leak detection, we didn’t" later. A leak can impact you by causing significant damage to the infrastructure of your house, eventually leading it to collapse in the long term. To prevent these damages to you and your environment, call Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Pittsburgh to get your leak detection in Oakmont today.
Thankfully, some leaks are easy to detect as they are in some of the most commonly used parts of our house. Examples of these can be toilet leaks and kitchen sink leaks. If you are a careful person, then you would easily understand that there is a problem with your leak and call a reliable service for a water leak repair. However, if you aren’t very careful like about these, then you should at least pay attention to any odd behavior in these places. For toilets, there can be continuous water flow after a flush. For kitchen sinks, this can be hearing a tap or feeling the moisture in the area. If you feel like there is something not quite right, then call us today for a Oakmont leak detection.
Of course, it may not be as easy to quickly detect a leak as it may seem. This can be because it is in locations that we don’t commonly use or don’t directly see. Some common problems are caused by slab leaks and basement leaks. We don’t use our basement every day and slab leaks are caused from under a concrete foundation. To detect these problems, you have to follow your instincts and check whether these apply to you. First, do you feel any wet or work spots on your carpets and floor? Do you smell any mustiness in areas? Do you feel as though the pressure of your water decreased? If you have any problems as such or feel like your problems are similar, then it is best to contact a reliable and professional plumbing service.
Leaks may be a big problem, but Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Pittsburgh is here to say no. With our modern equipment, talented plumbers, and dedication, leak repair in Oakmont has never been easier. Call us today to contact our experienced team to learn more about us or our services.

Nick Smiley was awesome! Best experience I’ve ever had with a plumber, didn’t rob us, didn’t overcharge. I highly recommend, and no disrespect to the other plumbers which I’m sure is just as awesome, but I would request Nick again for every job moving forward. Thanks again Nick.
Brandon replaced our water pressure regulator and was very thorough with his explanations to my questions and professional throughout the entire process. He was extremely knowledgeable and was able to replace it in a timely manner. Highly recommend Brandon for all plumbing services!
These guys are great. Very responsive, professional, and quick. Another plumbing company said they'd have to tear up the whole driveway to replace a sewer line when they couldn't clear a clog. One of Mr Rooter's Associates came out and had the drain unclogged in 30 minutes. No need to tear up the whole driveway. I've used them a few times since, and they're always great. And if they don't clear the clog they don't charge you.
